Interventional Radiology is a specialty defined by its broad interface with other medical fields, fully embodying the modern concept of multidisciplinarity.
The relationship between our specialty and others is grounded in a mutual commitment to identifying the best treatment options for patients. This collaboration frequently takes place through case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, and tumor boards, where knowledge flows in both directions — we teach while simultaneously learning.
In an effort to share knowledge and present the therapeutic options offered by interventional radiology to related specialties — as well as to update colleagues who are already familiar with the field — SOBRICE promotes the Interdisciplinary Connection Campaign, aiming to bring into the congress those medical specialists who can work in partnership with interventional radiologists.
When you, an interventional radiologist, register for SOBRICE 2025, you will be entitled to nominate a colleague from another specialty (such as an oncologist, gastroenterologist, hepatologist, gastrointestinal surgeon, endocrinologist, urologist, gynecologist, or surgical oncologist), who will then be granted free registration for the event.
This is one of the many ways SOBRICE is working to promote the growth of Interventional Radiology, benefiting not only its members but, most importantly, all the patients who can gain from interventional techniques.
Note: Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and Diagnostic Radiology specialists are not eligible for this campaign.
After confirming your registration (paid or exempt), click the "Nominate a colleague" link included in your confirmation email.
